My kitty <3

Random things:

1. I love having short hair because I'm lazy.
2. I hate wearing shoes in the summertime.
3. I do not have an appendix.
4. I skipped first grade, so I just turned 18 in January. (High five, Safari!)
5. I like making faces at babies.
6. I'm slightly addicted to Minecraft.
7. Dried seaweed is one of my favorite snack foods.
8. I have pretty bad social anxiety, so I try to avoid interacting with other people unless they already don't hate me.
9. I think it's unfair to make 18 year olds decide what they want to do for the rest of their lives. I mean, seriously? My frontal lobe isn't fully developed yet, I can't make good judgements!
10. Sometimes I miss my piano and my cat more than my family. Yeah, I'm horrible. Get over it.
11. Cute scrapbooked handouts make me sick.

Answer questions:

1. If you had to live in one place the rest of your life, where would it be?
Singapore. It's a huge city with lots going on and so much diversity. Plus it's clean and has an extremely low unemployment rate. AND Chinese is one of the official national languages.

2. From K-12, what was your favorite grade and why?
Definitely sixth grade. I was in a gifted program, and made many friends that are still close to me today. It was nice to learn together before most of us realized that nerds weren't "cool." We also got to do cool things, like our unit on Greece where we split up into city-states and competed against each other (Go Argos!).

3. What's one of your favorite scriptures?
I really like 2 Nephi 22:2. "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation."

4. What's one of your fears?
Rejection. You'd think I'd be used to it by now, but nope. Still petrified by the chance.

5. What's a unique habit that you have?
Sometimes I smell people when I hug them.

6. What's your favorite movie?
Up.

7. Do you think that pushing the buttons at crosswalks really does anything?
At some crosswalks, it does. There's this one light on State Street in Lehi that has a weird sensor, so when my dad's taking me somewhere at night, the light won't turn no matter how long you wait. But if you jump out of the car and hit the crosswalk button, the light changes immediately.

8. What is something big you want to achieve?
I want to discover something or do something that will change the world. I just haven't figured out what yet.

9. What's one thing you'd like to change about the world?
I just wish that people would listen, instead of staying in their comfort zones and ignoring facts just because it clashes with their preconceived notions. I think the world would be better if we would all make decisions based on reality, not pre-existing belief.

10. What's one character trait you wish you were better at?
The one where you don't procrastinate.

11. What's your favorite book?
Jane Eyre will always be one of my favorites. I'm also in love with Brandon Sanderson's books right now, and since I just read Warbreaker again I'll say that one too.

Ask questions:
1. What makes you happy?
2. Do you want to live close to your parents when you grow up?
3. Is there a recurring dream that you like?
4. What's your favorite place to go out to eat?
5. Would you rather have someone tell you straight about something you're doing that they don't like, or have them sugar coat it to protect your feelings?
6. Do you play any musical instruments? If so, how long have you played?
7. Is it flattering or creepy when someone likes all of your pictures on Facebook?
8. If you had a million dollars and couldn't give it away, what would you spend it on?
9. Are you afraid of death?
10. What's your favorite kind of tree?
11. Who are you planning on voting for in the presidential election?

Tagging:
Hannah.

Um. I don't really know who reads this blog regularly. But if you got all the way down here and you're reading the fine print, pretend like I tagged you.
