I re-read the Narnia series yesterday. The final book is my absolute favorite, and this time through it made me cry. It's beautiful. Truly, books like this are wasted on children. C. S. Lewis talks about the end of the world (ours as well as Narnia) and what comes after. It's as though Narnia was just a shadow of a world where things were more vibrant, more real. "It's all in Plato," says Professor Digory.
We are living in shadows.
And someday I will get to go home.
And someday I will get to go home.
